2182 Vessel Speculative Vase

2182 Vessel

2182 Vessel is a ceramic wine glass designed to hold premium champagne. The form refers to four historic drinking vessels: the Patera, the Kylix, the Tazza cup and the champagne coupe. A wide opening allows the aroma to spread quickly. Drinking takes place in two stages. The shallow upper part holds the first portion and supports the sense of smell. The narrow middle section slows oxidation, so the wine in the deeper lower part keeps its taste. The glass measures 50 mm in width, 50 mm in depth and 140 mm in height.

Ripple Coffee Table

Ripple

The middle tables that used usually take place in the middle of the spaces and cause difficulty with the approach problems. For this reason, the service tables are used to open this gap. In order to solve this problem, Yılmaz Dogan has combined two functions in the design of Ripple and developed a dynamic product design which can be both a middle stand and a service table, which travels with an asymmetric arm and moves in the distance. This dynamic motion coincided with Ripple's fluid design lines reflecting from nature with the variability of a drop and the waves formed by that drop.

Decker Folding Yacht Chair

Decker

Decker is a folding chair designed for use on yachts. The chair opens as a low lounge chair and folds to a compact form only 100 millimetres thick. The frame is made of stainless steel with trapezoidal tubing and cast lugs, joined by brass hardware at the pivot points. Teak slats are attached to webbing straps rather than to the frame, so the seat and back flex with the user. An over-centre geometry holds the straps in tension when the chair is open. A jog in the seat frame forms a carrying handle, and magnets keep the folded legs in place.

The marble was sanded repeatedly to fit the curved metal precisely. The table measures 1120 mm in width, 1120 mm in depth and 700 mm in height.
