Paganini Rhapsody

Paganini Rhapsody is a residential interior design for a villa on a site of 231 square meters in Taiwan. The original stairs on the first floor were replaced with barrier-free ramps to allow easier wheelchair access in the future. A red column provides structural reinforcement and shapes the space. The living area is placed behind hidden doors, while a wooden grille conceals the bedroom, bathroom and storage. Separated metal plates recall golden keys and strings. Partitions were removed and openings rearranged to improve light and ventilation.

Brimming of Art

Art and Chanson Overbrimming is a residential interior design for an apartment in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Unnecessary walls were removed to widen the shared area and to create a transparent ambiance. Wood look tiles, sintered stones, metal plates and white painted woodwork form a calm palette of low chroma black, white and grey. The television wall is built with metal and extends to the ceiling along the beams. Display cabinets, a piano and crystal pieces present the collection of the residents, in the manner of a small gallery.

Truffle Forest is a residential interior design for a private home. The layout breaks the conventional three-bedroom plan and links indoor and outdoor areas to enlarge the space. Titanium-plated metal screens, silver-grey marble, wood veneer and electrified glass form light partitions that can be made clear or private. The balcony combines stainless steel raised flooring, marble and teak wood with a water curtain, a bar and planting. A smart home system controls lighting, air conditioning, curtains and the water curtain.

Dream of Rose is a residential interior design located in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The new-classical style preferred by the homeowners is taken as the design theme. Classical wallpaper, rococo tones, carved walls and refined lighting shape the character of the home. Three-dimensional carvings, joint lines, Roman columns and arches express a classical European vocabulary. A porch cabinet reorganizes the entrance and creates a more open public area. A multifunctional room hides a lift bed within a classical cabinet, so the room serves as both a reception room and a guest room.

Tasteful House is a residential interior design for a family of three in Foshan, covering 120 square meters. The original layout was rearranged so that each area matches actual daily needs. Walls between the balcony, the living room and the dining room were removed to enlarge the space. A new wall set back 35 centimeters makes room for a board-style bookcase that holds books and ornaments. A black and white palette highlights the colorful objects. A two-meter coffee table with a fixed rotating chair supports parent and child interaction.

Dongguan Oct Waterfront Sample Room is a residential interior design located in Liaobu, Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China. The design draws on the nearby lake view and brings water elements into the indoor space. The core space is kept open to recall the feeling of nature, while flexible divisions give each area its own character. The boundaries provide private rooms and shared areas for a family of three generations. Materials include gradient wall covering, landscape glass and three dimensional leather panels. A cool color tone creates a calm atmosphere.

Butterfly House is a residential interior design for a villa of 800 square meters. The home serves both as a dwelling and as a setting for an art collection. A gold lacquer screen from the Kangxi period, an Italian Art Deco bench with yellow corduroy upholstery and an eighteenth century French cabinet with inlaid fine wood greet visitors at the entrance. A stainless steel rockery sculpture stands in front of the entrance hall. The planning is restrained and precise, balancing the collection, the functions of the house and comfort. Construction ran from 2016 to 2019.

Mansion of Yu is a residential interior design completed in Taipei City, Taiwan. The apartment is arranged as an open plan, so the public areas are defined without partitions. A consistent floor size and colour tone imply the function of each area. Dark slabs with a stone texture cover the floor of the public spaces and connect the living room and the dining room. Pure white furniture and decorations create an elegant impression. A warm grey wall covering and a low chroma carpet soften the cool tones. Smoked white oak and walnut are used in the study.

Xiaoshan is a residential interior design for a private single-story home of 380 square meters. Bionic organic curves soften the boundaries of the main hall, so the living areas flow into one another. The curved ceiling is combined with air conditioning outlets and wall lights to suggest movement through the space. Materials include shadow wood veneer, hairline bronze stainless steel, brown marble and artistic hand-scraped paint. The curved ceilings and the paint textures were shaped by hand on site. The design presents the beauty of natural forms, textures and light.

Mora35 is a residential interior design for a 52 square meter apartment in a building erected in 1955 in Bucharest, Romania. The two bedroom home keeps the character of the original space while adding modern comfort. Oak wood, brass and white finishes define the surfaces. A brass plinth forms a recessed line where the wall meets the floor, and brass bands outline the doors. The oak furniture is shaped for each room. A KNX system controls lighting, heating, cooling and motorized shades remotely. Floor heating was added during the renovation.

Exotic Mashups is a residential interior design created for a model house of about 70 pings in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The layout joins colonial style with a mix of eastern and western elements. Vintage furniture collected in southeast Asia is placed across the rooms. Warm wooden and ivory tones, a framed barrel headboard and a button trimmed sofa define the character of the space. Large French windows draw daylight inside and reveal the outdoor area. A sunken balcony links the main bedroom with the open living, dining and kitchen area.
