The Rise of Japandi

The Rise of Japandi is a residential interior design completed in Hong Kong in 2019. The home joins Japanese and Nordic influences in a simple, modern and uncluttered layout. A wooden screen door with semi-translucent glass forms an airy partition, and a round opaque glass display cabinet recalls a traditional lantern. Curved edges and circular details soften the transition between spaces. Greenery outside acts as a calm backdrop.

A la Blanc

A la Blanc is a residential interior design for an apartment in Taichung city, Taiwan, with a built area of 115 square meters. White undertones and marble veins on the walls form a calm background. Bent titanium metal plates create a polyline niche below the television, matched by tall bookshelves of the same structure. A brass pendant lamp contrasts with an indigo sofa, and copper skirting completes the slate blue kitchenette cabinets.

The Manliness Attitude

The Manliness Attitude is a residential interior design completed in Hong Kong in 2019. The home was planned for a resident who works in the financial industry from home and lives with a dog. Wood, stone, black chrome stainless steel and wrought iron add texture, while grey, brown and black form a consistent colour scheme. A work area adjoins the living room and can be separated by a glass door. Laminated stone-like surfaces suit the humid mountain setting.
