Meland Club is an indoor parent-child playground located in Shenzhen, China. Drawing inspiration from the Four Seasons, the designer built a whimsical garden with abundant geometric figures as well as different materials that not only add rich texture but also impart vitality and energy. The design aims to pursue ultimate creation of space experience, atmosphere and impact, it also brings a surreal fairy tale beyond imagination to reality.
Continue readingIn the core area of Hangzhou, Zhejiang, the designer hopes to combine futuristic and natural elements to create a futuristic, comfortable and pure park-like community in the city. The designer extracted an abstract concept from the root system of the Internet and plants-the net. In the space, the wood structure is used to create a net-like ceiling, which is like a lush tropical rain forest and a network that links the future. With the pure white background color of the space, it highlights the nature and tranquility of the space and creates a pure future picture.
Continue readingIn this case, the entrance uses an enormous number of "planting" to create, so that it returns to a more simple state, forming a landscape indoor space that can contact people and nature. In the rectangular white box, the placement of the circle breaks the single geometric form, liberates the familiar walking path, and creates a wealth of movement route. As the center of the principal axis, concentric circles in the bar area extend outward, and three narrow box blocks interpenetrate, opening several windows to the closed space.

Our meaningful design moves every sense by harmonizing nature and technology, and Asian sensitivities with international aesthetics to deliver a hotel with a strong but highly considerate identity.
Continue readingCanada's busiest shopping mall brings in a fresh new fruit tea shop design by Studio Yimu. The flagship store project was ideally for branding purposes to become the new hotspot in the shopping mall. Inspired by Canadian landscape, the beautiful silhouette of Canada's Blue Mountain is imprinted on the wall background throughout the store. To bring concept into reality, Studio Yimu handcrafted a 275cm x 180cm x 150cm millwork sculpture that allows full interaction with each customer.
