Shiding Tea Ceremony Classroom

Shiding Tea Ceremony

Shiding Tea Ceremony is a tea art classroom created for a high school in Taipei. The project converts a damp and dark storage room into an open teaching space. Large glass windows and a wooden platform connect the interior with the surrounding landscape, and bamboo is used as the ceiling material. One original tea stove and chimney are kept as a reminder of the past. The glass is thickened and the window frames are reinforced for safety. The space measures 18370 mm in width, 9280 mm in depth and 4430 mm in height. The open layout supports contact between students, visitors and nature.

Aesthetic Lab Classroom

Aesthetic Lab

Aesthetic Lab is a classroom designed for aesthetic education in a school in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The 110 square metre space has white walls, ceilings and equipment, so student work provides the colour. Four colours flow from the ceiling to the floor, marking the central axis and the golden ratio and serving as teaching material. A central island gathers water faucets, power outlets and storage in the middle of the room. Desks and folding chairs can be moved freely, so the classroom suits group work, lectures and exhibitions.

Blue Moon Classroom

Blue Moon

Blue Moon is the interior design of a language school in Taipei, Taiwan. The plan is divided into classrooms and toilets and covers about 105 square meters. Open circulation and transparent partitions keep each teaching area visible. Concrete walls are supported by the floor slab and stand above glass partitions and glass doors, so the concrete appears to float. Movable louver screens, shaped as sine curves and combined with LED light, divide the group discussion area and can be rearranged as needed. The design balances shared and private study spaces.

The first floor serves the kindergarten level and follows a forest theme. The second floor serves the primary level and follows a sky theme, while the restroom follows an ocean theme.
