Time Imprint

Time Imprint integrates age-friendly concepts with Chinese cultural elements to create future-oriented green rural housing. Takumi

Amidst the flickering flames, the intense red of the burning charcoal and the brick walls create a visual and sensory feast. The brick tones, reminiscent of the warmth of traditional Japanese charcoal grilling, are reinterpreted in a modern space, blending tradition and modernity seamlessly. Whether in the open dining area or the meticulously designed private VIP booths, each space is like a carefully crafted stage, presenting dinners with one captivating scene after another.

Craftsmanship

The ceiling, floor, and walls are covered with natural materials. The designer replaced the old flooring with cement, allowing a natural texture to develop over time. Small lines on the floor evoke a sense of inheritance, like a father's careful yet weathered hands. The cement on the walls preserves the traces of craftsmen, while the skylight connects the space to the local community. The interplay between steel bars and pine trees creates a contrast, and the lines guide visitors to a deeper understanding of the site's history. The materials reflect the brand's essence.

The natural materials used in the finishes develop unique hues over time, and as they are touched by human hands, they gracefully reflect the passage of time in their own distinctive ways.

It is a process of traveling freely between stars, getting closer to one's star. The design boldly uses primitive and simple materials such as metal, lighting, and stone spray, while incorporating the geometric meanings of curves and straight lines to express an elemental cosmic space. The movable walls and furniture create various spatial transformations, allowing global fans to have experiences.

Light Wave

The project emphasizes the natural qualities of stone. The logo wall, made of white stone texture and translucent paper, creates a memorable first impression. Stone textures extend throughout, blending with metal and glass for a balanced aesthetic. The lighting design takes advantage of the stone's light receptive properties, adding a sense of lightness. Drawing from the coastal setting, the designer incorporated a wave like ceiling and water ripple metal panels to introduce depth and a softer ambiance.
