A Valley In The City

The Attic

The designer uses the advantage of the nature of the attic itself, to make the space with the flavor elements of iron, cement, and wood. The wood feeling echoes with the natural environment atmosphere, and create the layers of light and shadow from the green, light, wood, pure white, and grey border spectrum. Extending the attic residences permeable space sense, the high ceiling collocation with no wall pattern plan, makes the integral vision with the broader visual effect. The TV swivel mount and the tatami design are the highlights in the case.

Arthurs

A contemporary North American grill, cocktail lounge and rooftop terrace located in Midtown Toronto celebrating a refined classic menu and indulgent signature drinks. Arthur's Restaurant has three distinct spaces to enjoy (dining area, bar, and rooftop patio) that feel both intimate and spacious at the same time. The ceiling is unique in its design of faceted wood panels with a wood veneer, constructed to enhance the octagonal shape of the room, and mimic the look of cut crystal hanging above.

With the gradual maturity of aesthetics and the aesthetic changes of human, the modern style that highlights self and individuality has become the important elements of design. This case is a restaurant, the designer want to create a youthful space experience for consumers. Light blue, grey and green plants create rnatural comfort and casualness for the space. The chandelier made by hand-woven rattan and metal explains the collision between human and nature, showing the vitality of the whole restaurant.

In this case, the health management center was built into a submerged place. Its core concept is extracted from the changes of the stars, giving people a feeling of being in outer space or deep sea. Through restrained design techniques, the designers skillfully balanced the relationship between people and space, making space only the background, while talent is the leading role.
