Renmin Road 1979

This case is mainly around the clues of Time, Emotion and City, interpreting the inheritance from the old Renmin Road and the new urban development. Through the maintenance and reshapeing of the existing buildings and spaces, inward construction is adopted for the development. The urban memory, cultural symbols and their underlying logics are retained with modern design techniques, to create an interdependent community of the old and the new, to explore the completion and cooperation between reconstruction and preservation, and to motivate people for critical thinking about things.

QYF

The design team did image design for Qyf, a multi-brand boutique with a 20 year history. The store brings about new consumption patterns and lifestyle trends for local consumers. With the modernist aesthetic approach, this project injects new energy into the brand. The moving lines and functions, all designed based on the site conditions, meet the business logic. The design is a comprehensive solution to the brand Qyf. The design team believes that brand update echoes the new age today because it means the exploration for breakthroughs and possibilities in every sense.

The Satori Harbor

Chinese e-commerce company Vipshop has included in its headquarters a library turned into a sanctuary that embodies the spirit of contemplation. Wutopia Lab designed a Satori Harbor represents an abstract harbor city where employees can wander through literature and experience satori; a state of transcendental being in the practice of Taoism, as the morning light shining across the entire earth.

Zens Art

The design is presented by the romantic winding curved wall, which is similar to the desert color of Casablanca, Morocco, bringing a new visual experience and challenge to the main color of the space. Inspired by Mexican architect Luis Barragan, the building combines the essence of Mexico's visual heritage with the abstract forms of modernism, characterized by color, light and space.

Sincere Garden

Different from other sales centers, there is no check-in counter in the tea bar area, but an open space instead for face-to-face communication with customers. All customers can enjoy the various drinks and desserts while consulting there. The long table by the window is made of walnut solid wood. On one end of the opposite wall, red clay pottery sculptures are placed to enhance the artistic sense. The other end is Chinese painting, in this way new and old artists meet here.

Changzhou Zhimu Spa

In the design process, designers tried hard to interpret the essence of human beauty, breaking, superimposing and reorganizing the concepts of human nature in the abstract sense of masculine and femininity to obtain more concrete spatial characteristics. The lobby, the walls, passages, reception areas and other spaces are processed into hard square blocks, with warm gray stone powder paint finishes, and the scales of stacked stones on the walls, like mountains and rocks in the desert.
