Bodhi Tree

Paying homage to the Buddha’s perfect enlightenment, the guiding lights for this project were calmness, simplicity, and openness. Wood element adorned with three dimensional structures, creating a sense of consistency and depth. The untamed lines that run through every panel of wood can be compared to a fingerprint each one unique from the next, as if handcrafted by Mother Nature herself. The earthy colour palette and materials reveal the elegance that lies in simplicity and brings a timeless character to the space, also blurs the lines between the home and natural environment.

Xian Qin Hui

The project is located inside the 2rd Ring Road and on the vein of Beijing. It's a comprehensive space that presents the life of Qin Hanzhang known as a master of liquor, takes liquor culture experience as the core, and integrates display, tasting and clubhouse. The design utilizes dark gray and black, wooden hue and gold in a differentiated way, implicitly links with alcohol making culture, and reinterprets Chinese elements. Enclosed circulation routes establish an interaction and emotional connection among brand, people and space.

Huahong Merchants Yunyue Zhenjing

Inspired by Niaoya bookstore, in the design of Yunyue Zhenjing Sales Center, the design team wanted to break away from the traditional concept of a sales office and incorporate the atmosphere of a bookstore into the whole space. The soft furnishings use permanent floral arrangements to decorate the space with natural colors and are reusable. The wooden grid that encloses the sandbox area is lined with a variety of seeds from the natural ecology, adding to the beauty of the space with its crystal clear appearance.

Love Veggie

Bringing a well known tradition vegetarian restaurant into 21st century, this new branch restaurant is designed to provoke the senses through a series of lotus form. From this inspiration, the design team converted lotus image to the materials, patterns and forms. What is more, by enhancing the details of the lotus, which is deeply related to the Buddhism, the design team have generated an extraordinary calm atmosphere of the restaurant. Laser cut metal lotus pattern and smooth blue upholstery create an organic, natural elegance.

Top of The Lake

Designer shaped the interior by a composition of intersecting blocks, structures, textiles and colors. Dark tones greatly contrasts with wood veneers giving a soft and cozy vibe. The proximity of a lake, thin frame windows and a rich palette of used materials help to create a bond between house interior and the nature outside. The essence of this design are the shapes on the floors, walls and ceiling. Zarysy built an interior composition which separates the spaces and functions, but at the same time brings them together creating one consistent design.

Colourform

The idea of the stand refers to the Mineral Composite technology, the material from which the client's products are made of. Mineral Composite is a combination of dolomite and flexible resin. The Dolomites have formed about 250 million years ago as a result of volcanic activity. Then, under pressure and high temperature, the limestone layers turned into dolomite. Designers focused on dolomite because the rock that was formed millions of years ago is transforming into a beautiful and functional product and it is amazing to see the power of nature.
