KP.A

KP.A is an exhibition space of about 1000 square meters located in Hefei, China. The design presents houses, chairs and other daily necessities as basic living needs rather than luxury goods. Cubes of varying volume divide the interior into areas with different functions and create free movement paths. Wood is used across large surfaces to recall the grain fields that once covered the site. Simple forms, restrained colour and clear light and shadow reduce the commercial tone of the venue and create a calm atmosphere.

Geometric structures enrich the spatial layers, and color blocks form part of the structure and set the tone of each space.

Where The Root Is

Where The Root Is is an office interior located in a historic building in central Shanghai. The root of a tree serves as the core design concept. Grey carpet and wool wall covering give the working area a calm tone, and the supervisor office is separated to ensure privacy.

Simple furniture, safe corners and protected columns support safety, while a gentle maze layout encourages exploration.
