Bi-Wabisabi

Bi Wabisabi is a micro residence in Taipei, Taiwan, with a floor area of 26 square meters. The interior design is based on the travel memories of the owners in Japan. A nostalgic mood is created through a careful division of the small space. The narrow, vertical height of the home is used as an advantage, and a bookshelf reaches from the floor to the ceiling. The bookshelf recalls a bookstore in Japan that the owners admire. Completed in 2019, Bi Wabisabi allows the owners to revisit treasured memories in daily life.

Shenzhen Meland Club

Meland Club is an indoor children's playground located inside a shopping mall in Shenzhen, China. The interior covers 6000 square meters and is arranged as a garden with a four seasons theme. A three-layer platform was built within the double-height space to improve the use of vertical space. Atriums with stairs around them guide visitors toward each area. A rotating slide, climbing ropes and other active facilities sit on the lower levels, while quieter activities are placed on the third floor. Cabinets and shelves are shaped as plants for storage, and flower-shaped seats offer rest.

Quiet World

Quiet World is a sales center located in the core area of Hangzhou, Zhejiang, close to a wetland park. The interior covers 1037 square meters. The design combines futuristic and natural elements to suggest a park-like community within the city. The concept of the net was drawn from the root systems of plants and of the Internet. A wooden structure forms a net-like ceiling that recalls a rain forest and changes the light and shadow at every step. Pure wood and white are the main colors, and a marble wall and a large art installation complete the calm space.

Number Five Forest

Number Five Forest is a commercial complex interior covering 1000 square meters. The design combines a cafe, a show venue, a podium, a theatre and exhibition areas within one spatial form. Dense planting at the entrance forms a landscape interior that links visitors with nature. Glass encloses the green plant areas, allowing daylight to enter and views to extend. Inside a rectangular white box, a circle breaks the single geometric form and frees the familiar walking path, creating varied circulation. Light from the patio falls into the space.

Green Light Forest

Green Light Forest is an ecology exhibition designed for a forest park visitor center at 2000 meters elevation in Wulong, Chongqing, China. The interior covers about 900 square meters on two floors, inside a triangular building shaped after the mountains. A zigzag ribbon form, drawn from a local legend, flows through the space in four colors. Each color marks one theme: forest formation, habitat, geology and environmental protection. Exhibition elements hang from the ceiling to keep the floor open. Laser projection, LED screens and sensors allow the content to change.
