The challenge of this project was to be able to re-propose the succession of secret spaces typical of Milan's historic canter, going beyond the ancient building structure through a contemporary design that would guarantee a new atmosphere. Rock Fire Praise

Rock Fire Praise is a Japanese barbecue restaurant interior. The design uses a red and black color scheme to suggest rock and fire. The dining area recalls the cave paintings of Altamira, which show early people making a fire and roasting meat. Rough fumed oak and porous volcanic rock are the main materials, and their natural texture adds a sense of history. The second floor is divided by bamboo fences, wooden hedges and shoji doors in a wabi sabi style. Lighting on the upper level simulates natural light. The interior aims to offer a calm and appetizing dining place.

Xu Wei

Xu Wei is an art museum interior in Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, China, with an area of 8,000 square meters. The design unites architecture, interior and display space in one scheme. A transparent ground floor links the exhibition halls on both sides with the north and south squares. Internal courtyards divide the exhibition areas and increase transparency. Elements are simplified into white geometric forms, so light, shadow and landscape views remain the focus. Veneers were polished and coated on site to obtain a clean white surface similar to traditional rice paper.

Light

Light is an exhibition hall interior design with an area of 380 square meters. The space structure is formed by geometric blocks that are collaged and carved. Linear light guides divide the interior, and suspended acrylic panels form the partitions. The intent is a pure retail display space in grey tones, where light and shadow replace strong colors and added decoration.
