Grace

Grace is a design that translates feelings that a single word can not describe. This in combination with the conviction that form does not always follow function, but should be able to follow emotion. The result is a sculpture-like design made from a 3D printed frame, partially covered with foam for added comfort and an elastic yet durable fabric. It can match different finishes and materials and blend into different environments: from high-end use in a hotel lobby to furniture in a private home.

The Beijing Parade

The Beijing Parade is a restaurant interior located in Beijing. The space of 1800 square meters follows a Belt and Road theme and recalls the Tang Dynasty in an abstract way. The antehall uses axe-split stone, an old copper logo, red shelves, an original stone tea table, red wine racks and large floral decorations. Rock cliff installations carry dry trunks and branches with moss and sparse flowers. A pagoda lamp marks the end of the corridor.

Deformed walls create an impression of weightlessness. The ceiling is finished with water corrugated stainless steel, and its high reflectivity blurs the outlines of the space. An automatic hatch opens towards the hall and marks the change between areas. The intent is an immersive experience that invites exploration.
